Hey! I’m Calvin
I’m a confident, enthusiastic problem solver and use my theoretical and practical knowledge in product design to empower users, making their lives easier and more enjoyable. Based in Surrey, I’m self-motivated, extremely attentive to detail and love to work on projects from start to finish and deliver excellent results for my clients.
I’ve always seen myself as a very hands-on designer, who loves a challenge! I take great joy in watching a product evolve over time from ideation, through to delivery. Everything in-between has allowed me to push myself across various disciplines including research, management and process creation. I love the fact that every stage of the design process provides these opportunities, which enables us as designers to learn and grow, everyday!
Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to lead a number of projects including transformation pieces for Euro Car Parts and a UK-based food and drink wholesaler, while I worked on bringing the likes of Sky Stream to life. I was also part of the team that delivered an industry first, ecommerce experience for Ford. Prior to this, I worked as a freelancer across a range of sectors including healthcare, events, gaming, and insurance.
When I'm not working, you'll find me on long walks with our Cocker Spaniel, Bonnie, at gigs and festivals, or on the slopes, skiing. If not, I'll be glued to the football hoping Spurs pick up some silverware. I’m also partial to a bit of DIY!
